Improv Everywhere
January 17th, 2008 | by jg3 |So, for some other reason, which I won’t go into here, J’fy sent me an email this morning pointing me to Improv Everywhere’s site. I had forgotten about this troupe, but I was thrilled to see that there were links on their front page to associated groups in my area who participated in No Pants 2k8 yesterday. And based on an overheard exclamation, I learned that a co-worker’s husband was one of the organizers of the event and was interviewed on the nightly news about it. Of course, they credit it to Pants Free DC and fail to mention that it is nationwide event, but whatever. I’m not going to bash Fox News [sic] for getting it wrong or spending too much time on this story (since they’re so busy covering the important things going on in our world). But I will point out that the Post got it right.
