The Washington Nationals Blogosphere
November 23rd, 2005 | by jg3 |There are a lot of them out there, but The Curly W: A Washington Nationals Blog has the best name, in my opinion, of all the Nats-related weblogs.
I really enjoy reading what these sites say and the way they keep up a conversation about baseball going, if a little interrupted, during the offseason. Furthermore, I really appreciate the fact that there are about thirty guys (yes, guys because it is baseball and because I have not seen anyone claim to be female) who are keeping up the heckling in the offseason. And oh what a job that is. MLB needs some, Bowden needs some, the District city council needs some, I’m sure some of the players could use a little just to keep their head in the game, you know. There are leaders, those who make a real profession out of it like Barry Svrluga at the Post (may his pen always be inked), but you really have to be an amateur to be a die-hard.
