100 Things About Me

3. (27 days later) I kind of think of myself as arrogant or self-centered or egotistical. I’m not sure if it is true, but in an effort to avoid actually being arrogant or egotistical, I start at the assumption that I am and work backwards.
4. I’m often a less-than-stellar communicator (see #3)
5. I’m often a less-than-stellar communicatee.
6. I realized yesterday that one of the first things I fear about growing old is wearing a hearing aid.
7. The ghost of my father’s mother watches over me whenever I lift a laundry basket.
8. I used to be a card-carrying Libertarian, but after careful consideration of the probable result of the implementation of some of the Libertarian ideas, no longer. (I am not sure what party I would associate myself with now)
9. I used to belive that rock and roll could really save the world as it spins and revolutions, it spirals and turns. Incidentally, I used to love U2.
10. I love pizza.
11. I distrust ministers.
12. I work for a giant, huge corporation whose former name was the name of the fictitious world-dominating mega-corporation in some of the writings from my dysutiopian phase (long ago).
13. oh, I had a dysutopian phase. I read all of the dysutopian novels (1984, We, Brave New World, etc) I could find.

15. I have lived with a cat, maxxmillion, for several years now. He is the color of a shadow.
16. I selected a lead-grey cat because I have a graphite-grey couch and lived in an apartment with grey carpet at the time.
17. I love to waterski.
18. I love to snowboard.
19. I used to (snow) ski, but that was before snowboards.
20. I am a bedroom DJ. That is, I mix music like a party DJ but only at home, I don’t “play out”.
21. I am right handed.
22. I am not “right-brained” nor “left-brained”, I am “whole-brained“.
23. I am a big fan of Douglas Coupland.
24. I once believed that I am genetically predisposed to prefering a car that is white in color. Having recently purchased another white car, I am now convinced that I am not.
25. I don’t have a favorite color (for each situation, there is an apropriate color).
26. I don’t have a lucky number (I do, however, have a favorite number).
27. I belive that there is order to the universe and if I had to guess, I would guess that such an order would not be hexidecimal.
28. I have very straight, brown-blonde hair with multiple cowlicks but it is not falling out (yet).
29. I am twenty nine years of age.
30. I like movies. I’m a sucker for the whole suspension of disbelief thing. I guess it gets to the deeper point: I want to believe.
31. Therefore, I am a potential target for con artists.
32. To avoid being a sucker, I am a cynic.
34. Autumn is my favorite season.
35. I have one tattoo.
36. I am hypoglycemic.
37. I have recently discovered chlorine dioxide mouthwash. It is great.
38. I was raised in a Southern Baptist church. I really believed it then, but I never, ever thought critically about it. (see #30)
39. My favorite teacher from high school is dead.
40. I have about sixty more things to tell you (see #1, #2)
